Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant/Payroll Officer to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our company's financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Additionally, they will be responsible for processing payroll, managing benefits, and ensuring accurate and timely payment of employee compensation.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management:
Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Manage and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as tax laws and financial reporting requirements
Payroll Management:
Process payroll accurately and timely, including salaries, benefits, and deductions
Manage employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as tax laws and labor laws
Accounting and Financial Analysis:
Perform financial analysis and prepare financial reports, including budgeting and forecasting
Identify and resolve financial discrepancies and errors
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
Other Duties:
Assist with financial planning and budgeting
Provide financial training and support to other departments
Perform other financial duties as required
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
At least 3 years of experience in accounting and payroll management
Professional certification in accounting (CPA, CMA, or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of financial laws and regulations
Excellent analytical and financial skills
Proficient in accounting software and systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have:
Master's Degree in Accounting or related field
Experience with financial planning and budgeting
Knowledge of human resources management
Experience with payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, etc.)
